BIOGRAPHY
Zeb Wells is an award-winning comic book writer with over two decades of experience in the industry. He won Marvel Comics' talent search contest in 2001, launching a prolific career that has spanned both creator-owned and mainstream superhero titles.
Aaron is best known for his creator-owned series Scalped (Vertigo) and Southern Bastards (Image Comics), which showcase his talent for gritty, character-driven narratives. His major Marvel work includes groundbreaking runs on Thor (featuring Jane Foster as the Goddess of Thunder), Avengers, Wolverine, and Spider-Man (black suit).
His Thor run is particularly celebrated for introducing Jane Foster as Thor and exploring themes of worthiness and sacrifice. Aaron's work on Avengers has been equally ambitious, featuring cosmic-scale storytelling and the introduction of new characters like Starbrand and the Avengers of 1,000,000 BC.
