AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY WATCH
POSSIBLEGamora's status in the MCU is complex but she could return. The original Gamora died in Infinity War. A 2014 variant Gamora survived Endgame but left the Guardians. She could appear in cosmic crossover events. Her connection to Thanos and knowledge of cosmic threats makes her valuable for any universe-level crisis.
COSMIC EXPERTISE
Gamora knows the cosmic side of the MCU better than almost anyone. She's fought alongside the Avengers against Thanos. If Secret Wars involves cosmic-level threats or multiverse incursions, her experience would be invaluable. The 2014 variant is still out there.
INVESTMENT IMPLICATION
Strange Tales #180 (first Gamora) is a Bronze Age key that spiked with the Guardians films. Zoe Saldana's portrayal is beloved. Any return announcement would boost values. Her Thanos connection makes her relevant for any cosmic storyline.

Daughter of Thanos
Gamora first appeared in Strange Tales #180 (June 1975), created by Jim Starlin. She was the last survivor of the Zen-Whoberis, a species wiped out by the Universal Church of Truth. Thanos found the young Gamora and raised her as his own, training her to be the deadliest assassin in the galaxy. He intended to use her as a weapon, but Gamora had other plans.
Gamora eventually turned against Thanos, recognizing the monster he truly was. She became a hero, joining Adam Warlock and later the Guardians of the Galaxy. Her relationship with her "sister" Nebula—another of Thanos's adopted children—is one of comics' most complex sibling dynamics, moving from bitter rivalry to genuine love.
In the comics, Gamora has wielded the Infinity Stones, led the Guardians, and even briefly merged with the universe itself. She's been killed and resurrected multiple times. Her story is one of redemption—a weapon who became a protector, a daughter who defied her father, an assassin who found a family.

MCU: Zoe Saldana's Gamora
Zoe Saldana first appeared as Gamora in "Guardians of the Galaxy" (2014), establishing her as the moral center of the team. Her romance with Peter Quill and her complex relationship with Nebula were highlights of the trilogy. In "Infinity War," Thanos sacrificed her for the Soul Stone—one of the MCU's most emotional deaths.
"Endgame" brought back a 2014 variant of Gamora who never experienced the events of the Guardians films. This Gamora helped defeat Thanos but left at the end, her fate unknown. "Guardians Vol. 3" explored Peter's search for her, ending with her joining the Ravagers. The door remains open for her return.
